“ Although it seemed that TUSCOMA would cease activity after completing their tour of New Zealand with Deafheaven in 2024, the band released their fourth studio album, MAL DE AMORES, on April 25, 2025.

Initially, the musicians recorded the material simply as a souvenir - a way to preserve the songs that were part of their live setlist at the time. However, working in the studio with producer Chris Johnson changed their plans. The band realized they were not yet ready to end their touring career and decided to present the album to a wider audience.

The result is arguably TUSCOMA’s most cohesive work to date, showcasing their signature hybrid style that blends jagged, angular guitar riffs with the band's characteristic slow, brooding musical passages.
